Your Job Is To Be Your Child’s Mom, Not Their Therapist

At the end of the day, my child is my child. ⁣

Yes my child may have autism but I don’t always look at my child as my child with autism. I just look at my child as my child. ⁣

As a parent, I like to stay in my lane. ⁣

I do not want to become child’s therapist. ⁣

My role is to be his mother. ⁣

Can I incorporate strategies that I’ve learned from books, coaches, teachers, ect., YES. ⁣

But my job is to be my child’s MOTHER. ⁣
